José Lourenço was born in Lisbon in 1975. He studied painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. During his artistic career he shown his work all over the world, both in solo as well as in collective exhibitions. In 2008, he was awarded 2nd prize at the X Union Fenosa International Exhibition - Union Fenosa Museum of Contemporary Art and is represented in various public and private collections. "You float in my mind" is José Lourenço's first exhibition at Galeria Fonseca Macedo.
