The Fonseca Macedo-Contemporary Art announces the opening of the exhibition “Isolado”*, by the artist Andrea Santolaya, on the 1st October 2020. The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Saturday, 2 pm – 7pm. The Fonseca Macedo Gallery complies with the security measures issued by DRS. Gallery entrance will be limited and the use of masks required. * The project “Isolado” started at the Artistic Residence Program of Pico do Refúgio.
We are happy to announce the reopening of the Gallery after summer break. Come and visit us from Monday to Friday: 3pm – 7pm.
The Fonseca Macedo Gallery announces that on the 9th of July it will reopen to the public, from 3pm to 7pm, with a new exhibition “2000-2020: 20 Years of Exhibitions”, which marks the Gallery’s 20th anniversary. The Fonseca Macedo Gallery is closed due to the situation in the country, but, by teleworking, we continue to promote our artists. Today we start the new project with the following title: ONE WORK A DAY we will start with the works of the exhibition “Slow Atlas”, by the artist Marco Pires, which opened at Fonseca Macedo, in February, 2020.
